2024 has been a landmark year for Ash, a year that has seen tremendous growth, groundbreaking innovations, and the support of an extraordinary network of partners and clients. We are immensely grateful for the opportunities we've had to bridge healthcare gaps and bring transformative solutions to at-home health testing. Here’s a look back at our achievements:

Securing Series A Funding

In 2024 Ash achieved a pivotal milestone: securing $10M in Series A funding. This funding will allow Ash to continue to help provider partners turn on at-home health testing, increase test return rates, and ultimately close care gaps across the board.

This investment sets us up for a future of growth and success. It will enable us to scale our operations, expand our reach, and accelerate the development of new products and services. With these resources, we are better equipped than ever in the new year to push boundaries, drive innovation, and deliver even greater value to our clients and the communities they serve.

Strengthening Leadership with Exceptional Talent

We also welcomed two accomplished board members and a Chief Medical Officer, whose combined expertise will be instrumental in guiding Ash’s growth and innovation.

Julie Smith, Chief Growth Officer at tango, and Jamie Hall, President and CEO at CirrusMD, bring decades of experience in business strategy, healthcare, and health tech​​. Their insights into scaling organizations and driving impactful growth will be invaluable as we expand our reach and refine our offerings to better serve clients and patients.

Additionally, we were thrilled to welcome Dr. Harry Leider, MD, MBA, as our Chief Medical Officer​. With an extensive background in medicine and executive leadership, Dr. Leider adds a critical layer of medical expertise to our team, ensuring that our at-home health testing solutions meet the highest clinical standards while addressing the complex needs of healthcare providers and patients alike.

Together, these leaders embody a wealth of knowledge and a shared commitment to advancing healthcare innovation. Their contributions will help Ash navigate the rapidly evolving healthcare landscape, enabling us to scale responsibly, innovate strategically, and ultimately make a lasting impact in closing healthcare gaps for millions.

Enhancing Client and Patient Experiences Through Innovation

Ash introduced several transformative tools and enhancements aimed at streamlining processes and elevating the experiences of both clients and patients. Central to these efforts was the launch of the Client Portal, a platform that empowers clients with real-time insights into their at-home health testing programs. From tracking orders and shipment statuses to managing administrative roles and viewing detailed metrics, the portal simplifies operations and enables data-driven decisions. We also relaunched our core Orders API, ensuring high availability and increased redundancy to support the exponential growth of our clients and their health testing needs.

Beyond the portal, we implemented automated email workflows to encourage timely sample collection and improve care gap closure measures. An improved kit notifications service introduced customizable options for clients, adding flexibility to patient communications. To enhance accessibility, we rolled out English and Spanish translations for the patient portal and all patient-facing emails, ensuring broader inclusivity. These innovations reflect Ash’s commitment to creating efficient, accessible, and reliable solutions, empowering clients while improving healthcare outcomes for diverse populations.

We took great strides in engaging with our community by hosting several events throughout the year. From intimate dinners with NYC health tech executives to a standout breakfast at the HLTH conference in Las Vegas​, these gatherings allowed us to strengthen relationships with existing clients, connect with thought leaders, and explore potential collaborations. These moments of connection have helped push Ash, more solidly, into the larger network of healthcare organizations working to change the future of the industry.
